ABOUT US
We believe in the equitable access to literacy for all children regardless of color, ethnicity, religion, family background, socioeconomic level, home life, or learning ability. We also believe that in order to provide these opportunities, schools and their teachers must also have access to high-quality professional development and coaching in the science of reading and the best practices that create quality instruction. We provide these services in order to increase the efficacy and the capacity of teachers and schools serving our children.
OUR SERVICES
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Whether it is a targeted series of sessions based on your campus data and teacher needs or a one-time training, we are happy to work with your staff to provide training on literacy practices, instructional structures, and classroom strategies to help build the capacity of your teachers.
INSTRUCTIONAL COACHING
Team or one-on-one coaching can be a very rewarding experience for both the teacher and the coach, as we explore the specific needs of each educator and their students, data that has been collected and what that data is telling us, and discover action steps we can take to create visible change and improvement.
PROGRAM EVALUATION
If you have a literacy plan in place or are considering implementing a new structure, we are happy to provide an objective eye to evaluate the effectiveness of current practices, projected success, and nuances of literacy instruction that may present themselves throughout the implementation process.
